At a glance

As the science of teaching and learning, subject-specific educational research investigates the conditions and effects of teaching specific subjects in schools and at extracurricular learning places. Our focus is mathematics and computer science education. Please have a look at our research page to gain insight into our main areas of research.

We teach our students the fundamentals that are needed to plan, support, and improve learning processes in computer science and mathematics. In doing so, we pay attention to a research-based but also practice-oriented education. In this way, we contribute to the sustained professionalization of future teachers.
